Early this month…A series of Tee released by one Hong Kong local dress design shop were controversially clamped down attributing to ambiguously relating to Triad Society (三合會) diction…Official statement explained that the execution aimed at preventing social stability, & ethic.

The Chinese words printed stand for another form of number ‘14’…So the words combined together…Easily reminds people the one of the appalling Triads…14K(1)…Influentially Dominating Macau…A large outpost for Triads in South China…Operating Brothels…Drugs Dealing etc. …(Turning away Death Threatening…Excuse for stopping here…)

Fine…Don’t care about the style… (Actually I don’t think the design is quite outstanding)… But it would be absolutely interesting to see the real gangs deliberately wearing this cute design Tee…which identify the Tong  they belong to…concreting in groups and committing crimes in social (Maybe they won’t…More Funny than frightening I suppose to wear Tee such of these)…If so…I would regard the police’s doin’ the right thing.

OK…Seriously…Let’s put the Liberty away…This is something about Identity and Dress Code…I am sure you guys must have seen some shirts showing ‘F’ words, sorts of…or some impolite gestures printed on their front…even some gimmick designs of sex are much more common…As the police official saying… they should be suspended as well lest should people wearing these shouting ‘F’ words , showing nasty gestures or having sex in every single pose the Tee shows all around you in the street…Ha…Just a extreme assumption…I know some of you wanna see those happen… So do I…

To Appreciate the Brilliant design…& the Gut…Consequently suspended and investigated he or she should anticipate before hand…Brilliant yet not wise enough…I do wish they go well, you… the momentum of the Design Industry…gonna be definitely promising… As for the police…OK…Just Can you stop blaming them for what  your  tax paid for…Such kind of issues go up after the previous one goes off…Never stop…Audience get used to them…or maybe not…That’s the rule & that’s the game…What you Faineants’ve playing for years…Why not stop and go for another one…Go Hard…Cheers…

The 14K Triad is one of the largest triad groups to come out of Hong Kong. Formed after the Second World War by nationalists fleeing communist China, it has around 30 sub-groups, more than 20,000 members and a well-organized leadership.

As well as Hong Kong, it is also believed to be active around the world, in places like Toronto, New York, Macau, Great Britain, Thailand and Japan. The group is made up of individual chapters, and each chapter operates autonomously. This has led to some confrontation and even turf wars between rival chapters.

The 14K Triad engages in a wide array of criminal activities. Credit card fraud is one such activity, and the worldwide reach of the group allows it to gather credit card information from all around the world.

The 14K Triad fought a bloody turf war with the smaller Shui Fong Triad in Macau during the mid-nineties. Over the course of the conflict, more than 30 people were killed in gun battles, fire bombings and knife fights. Even Portuguese colonial authority figures were targeted, a car bomb almost killing the chief of police. The authorities decided to crack down on triad activity, and in 1998 gang boss Broken Tooth Koi was arrested, charged with various criminal activities and sentenced to 15 years in prison the next year.
